Thermally modified wood provides a beautiful, durable alternative to tropical hardwoods and chemically treated timber. Thermal modification significantly improves wood's resistance to mould and rot and provides excellent stability, resulting in boards that stay straight, even without coating (though we recommend coating with Cutek®Extreme wood protection oil to minimise end checking and further increase the life of your project). Uncoated wood will quickly develop a beautiful silver patina. To keep the original colour, Cutek® oil with colourtone must be used.

Ash and spruce decking is available in 20mm and 26mm thicknesses, with one brushed surface and end-matching to minimise waste.
